✅ Age Limit:

As per UGC and Government of India norms. A relaxation of 5% in qualifying marks (from 55% to 50%) is applicable for SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/PwBD candidates and Ph.D. holders who obtained their Master’s degree before 19th September 1991.

✅ Eligibility Criteria:

✔️ Professor (Academic Pay Level-14):

(1) For Education: Ph.D. in Education, Postgraduate degree in Education (Shiksha-Acharya/M.Ed/M.A. Education) with 55% marks, B.Ed. with 55% marks, 10 years of teaching/research experience, 10 publications in peer-reviewed/UGC-listed journals, and a research score of 120 (per UGC Regulations 2018).
(2) For Other Subjects (Paurohitya, Vishista Advait Vedanta, Nyaya Vaisheshik, Research): Ph.D. in concerned/allied/relevant discipline, 10 years of teaching/research experience, 10 publications in peer-reviewed/UGC-listed journals, and a research score of 120; OR an outstanding professional with a Ph.D. and significant contributions.

✔️ Associate Professor (Academic Pay Level-13A):

Ph.D. in concerned/allied/relevant discipline, Master’s degree with 55% marks in Sanskrit medium (where applicable), 8 years of teaching/research experience, 7 publications in peer-reviewed/UGC-listed journals, and a research score of 75. For Education, additional requirements include Postgraduate degree in Education and B.Ed. with 55% marks.

✔️ Assistant Professor (Academic Pay Level-10):

Master’s degree with 55% marks in concerned/relevant/allied subject (Sanskrit medium where applicable), NET/SLET/SET (Code-73, 25 for Women Studies, 20 for Hindi, 100 for Yoga), or Ph.D. as per UGC Regulations. For Education, additional requirements include Ph.D./NET in Education, Postgraduate degree in Education, and B.Ed. with 55% marks.

✅ Selection Process:

✔️ Shortlisting based on academic/ research score as per UGC Regulations 2018.
✔️ Final selection based on performance in the interview.

✅ Application Fee:

✔️ ₹ 2000/- for General/Other candidates.
✔️ ₹ 1000/- for SC/ST/OBC/Women/EWS candidates.
✔️ No fee for PwBD candidates.
✔️ Payment through online mode via Chayan Portal (Credit Card/Debit Card/UPI/Net Banking).
